DW: Companions Dear to Her

A small piece I was inspired to put together this past weekend.
I wanted to feature the companion I loved that traveled with 6, Miss Perpugilliam(Peri) Brown. She is pictured at the top left with Minerva and 6. Minerva loves Peri like a little sister, and Peri sees Minerva as her big sister. And once again, I drew Leela with Minerva, and Adric too. I would say that these two and Sarah Jane are my favorite Doctor Who companions.
I wanted to draw Adric with Minerva in a mother-son setting, and found this stock photo of a mother and son reading. Adric is a genius mathematician, but he also just loves learning in general. He would often sit with Minerva for an afternoon, just pouring over books, and sharing with her his knowledge. Minerva loved listening to him tell her all he knew, and after Adric's death, Minerva struggled for a long time to pick up a book at all.
