...goodnight, sweet gyspy king...
Ok, there's an explanation for this drawing, which I am sure some Clopin fans will kill me for this drawing. I was talking to , and I mentioned how moving and heart-breaking Luc Mervil's performance is when Clopin is killed while trying to protect his fellow gyspies from being deported. I had mentioned that I considered drawing our Disney Clopin dying, with dear Esme at his side, like in Notre Dame de Paris. She told me I should give it a shot, so I did.
I am VERY proud of this piece and how the expressions and the feel of it came out!
If you don't like the thought of our dear King dying, I understand. But please don't bash my piece just because you don't like the idea?
Anywho, I love you all and I hope some of you can enjoy this dark piece.
Oh yes, and I don't want any of you to think I want Clopin dead or anything. For some reason, I enjoy putting those characters whom I love in painful situations, perhaps becuase I know they can overcome it, or I want my OC by their side for it. Sometimes, I entertain the thoughts of the character's death becuase it can be quite beautiful. anyways, enjoy!
oh! and here's the link for Luc's performance!:[link]
Esmeralda and Clopin belong to Victor Hugo and Disney
